It could also be a decent other opportunity to learn some Italian.

Why don't you try to send a CV to the british Institutes or Wall Street Institute for English and to the Deutsche Istitut for German? They do have schools all around Italy. Good luck.

I think you can try answering to some great vacation group: Alpitour, Club Mediterranèe (Club Med), etc. (try internet). Normally these groups have many vacation villages scattered on the whole territory, and in those villages they always need of G.Os (kind of operator). However they ask for minimum two months of work and need a curriculum for specific knowledge. Here an example (try with one of your translator program)

Finger weg: kompliziert, niedrig Lohn , zu viel Konkurrenz , zu höhe Lebensunterhaltugskosten und Italienisch zu lernen bringt es nicht...

Ciao ...

I've been told that it's possible just to walk into a private language school and be assumed on a casual basis for a few days. I know people who've moved around from one school to the next as the need arises. You have to be footloose. Without proper TEFL qualifications, you wouldn't get a written contract, you'd get minimum pay and you'd be working "in nero" (more or less illegally). Try International House in London, they might be able to point you in the right direction.
